General description: The MultiPhoton Imager-121 is an ultra-low background gamma imager for low-activity distributed ¹²⁵I gamma and ¹³¹I sources. Measurements are performed simultaneously in two modes: standard (faster), and enhanced (slower, but more sensitive). The instrument can measure the 20 gels which have dual labels,¹²⁵I and ¹³¹I.
Components: MPD Imager-121 includes a multi-element detector unit with a positioning table, a dedicated computer with mouse and keyboard, and a 15" color monitor.
